Can I continue working on my projects across both the web and desktop app?
Yes, you can work on your Soundtrap projects later using both the web version and the desktop app.

Your work is saved in the cloud, so you can access your projects from different devices as long as you log in with the same account.

How is the desktop app different from the web version?
Soundtrap offers both a web version and a mobile app (available for iOS and Android).

The main differences are:

• The web version runs in your browser and is accessible on computers and mobile browsers.
• The mobile app is a dedicated native app you download from the App Store or Google Play.
• You can record, edit, and create music on both, but the experience and some features may vary depending on your device.

When should I use the mobile app instead of the Windows app?
The mobile app lets you write music with Soundtrap wherever you are, giving you the flexibility to create on your own terms. You can start an idea anywhere and keep working on it in the mobile app, or pick it up later in the Windows app. It’s entirely up to you!

Does it require a subscription to download?
You do not need a subscription to download the Soundtrap desktop app for Windows.
