Soundtrap app - How to record audio in Studio

To record audio in the Soundtrap app, you first need to make sure your microphone is enabled and that the app has permission to use it. If you’re having trouble recording, check your device settings and allow microphone access for Soundtrap. 

After confirming that microphone permissions are enabled on your device, follow these steps to start recording:

1. Open the Studio by clicking "New Project" 
2. Tap the + button at the bottom right of the screen
   
    
3. Select Voice & Mic
   
    
4. Tap Start Recording
   

If you are using the new version of the Soundtrap app: 

1. Open the Studio by clicking "+ New" 
2. Select Voice 
   
    
3. Tap Start Recording
   

To capture ideas and sounds, you can always use the quick recording feature by clicking the microphone button at the bottom right of the screen and start a recording right away: 

NOTE: For best results, use earphones/headphones with a mic or an external microphone.

• If you're experiencing any issues when recording: Close other apps, reopen Soundtrap, or update/reinstall the app.
