- Make sure you’ve downloaded and installed the correct drivers for your interface. We suggest reaching out first to your device manufacturer.
- Make sure your interface works with your computer/OS. There might be differences between Mac/PC/Chromebook.
- Check all your cables and connections and the volume controls of your instrument.
- Make sure the cable is connected to the correct input of your interface.

- Clear cache and cookies
- We recommend that you clear your browsers cache and cookies regularly as well. Accumulated cache and cookies can slow down the performance when using Soundtrap.
- Optimize internet connection
- Make sure to check your internet connection. We suggest that you use a stable and fast internet connection for best experience within Soundtrap.
- Limit background processes
- It might also help to close down unnecessary tabs, applications, or downloads running in the background as they can consume bandwidth and CPU resources, which might also affect the performance within Soundtrap.
- Try a different browser
- We recommend using Google Chrome as your browser for best experience within Soundtrap.
