Extend track?

Does the speed of your chord progression match the speed of your song? You can change the "Tempo" or speed of the song at the bottom to match the speed of your guitar riff, and then when you record it try to line up your recording with the metronome or "click track" that plays along.

If it's the right length, you should be able to just loop it by dragging from the top of the region to the right.

You can also try turning off the "snap to grid" by clicking the little magnet in the upper right of the studio. Then you can just loop it forever and it won't try to add extra incontiguous space after your loop to make it fit the "grid" of the song.

    Hi Sarah,

If you go into the piano roll of the track you recorded, you're able to zoom in and out to show different intervals of the measure (eighths, sixteenths, etc.) You can highlight all of the MIDI and extend them to where you want the recording to stop. This will make it so there aren't any gaps.

Also, there is a loop sign on the top right corner of the track when you hover over it. Hold and drag it to the right so you don't have to play it all the way through.

    Hope this helps!
