Artist Partnered Soundpacks/Virtual Instruments, Sampler, Rock Instruments
Hi,
- Artist Partnered Soundpacks: Imagine how much better soundtrap would be if they went and, rather than making soundpacks like Laces, where they try to make soundpacks that imitate the pop/punk/trap style of MGK's album Tickets to My Downfall, and actually work with Travis Barker and MGK to make a soundpack for example. If they worked with artists like Travis Barker, Brendon Urie, Bring Me The Horizon, Alesso, Fall Out Boy, and Ryan Tedder, to make new instruments and loops for their software, they could instantly trump Garageband in that department, they could even expand to have these artists show how to make a song on the platform, same as Patrick Stump did for Apple at one of the ipad release presentations a few years back.
- Sampler: Come on, Soundtrap needs a sampler, for all users, free and otherwise, no exceptions, as in upload a file, map the file to the keyboard, play the sample.
- Rock Instruments: This is getting ridiculous, Soundtrap has taken one of the free guitar sounds, Power Chord Long, and made it paid, which is just not cool, because I have it in many projects, and while I respect their morals for at least not retoractively yanking it out of projects, the fact that I cant open new tracks of it without having to duplicate tracks and then clear one of them is kind of crappy, and furthermore, Soundtrap is still very stingy with rock instruments, both in having very few in comparison to everything else, and in making them all premium. I would request they open up a couple, say the three guitar chord instruments, or the corresponding regular guitar sounds, and bring back power chord long as a free instrument, I would also request that some free more real sounding rock drumkits be added, and some new heavy bass tones be added. This sevice is owned by spotify, and if spotify web player can be made usable as a free user, then they can keep soundtrap free usable as well, because to be honest, while I enjoy soundtrap, if they head much further towards pay to play, I will just switch over to cakewalk, and encourage others to do the same.
Thank you for having a place to make my voice heard, and I hope I will see some of these features considered someday soon
