How do you split a stereo track to edit each component of the stereo track individually?

I have an audio recording where Person 1 is coming through my right ear, and Person 2 is coming through my left ear.

When I import them into say Audacity, each 'ear' shows up as a separate track, from which I can separate and edit individually.

However, when I try on Soundtrap, the stero track is imported and I still hear Person 1 in my right ear and Person 2 in my left ear, but the problem is that it shows as one track all lumped together, and I cannot edit the left or right ear individually.

Is there any way to do this?
