Soundtrap mix is worse than what I hear in the studio
I've seen a lot of similar posts and I want to speak of this issue as well. Many people say that what they hear in the final mix is very different than the playback in the studio which I completely agree. The volume balance of tracks is totally off in the downloadable mix and I always feel like there is zero reverb whatsoever. For example, I can hear a bright good trumpet melody line in the studio but in the mix the trumpet is dry and bland and quiet. I have been actually using Audacity to record while playbacking in the studio. This makes things much more complicated than it should be and my projects usually have more than 30 tracks which means I need to freeze a lot of them and sometimes soundtrap crashes because sbox fatal memory exceeded. When I first joined soundtrap which was like 2 years before, the mix was fine. One day things changed and the mix was suddenly garbage. I am using the free subscription if that matters at all.
