Accurate Wave Depiction in Audio Regions Option Please

I find it difficult to find and execute quick edits without having to zoom into my track immensely due to the poor representation of the Sound Waves in the Audio Track.

Is it possible for there to be an option to have the waves represented accurately instead of the current basic representation of bars. This would make it a lot easier to teach my students how to edit quickly, and identify wave forms in their projects and become more adept at editing.
