Allow for refresh of Edu Admin Tab

When asking students to start a project, I like to refresh the Edu Admin page on the Group to see who has logged in for that day and refresh to see that they have actually logged in.

An issue I encounter is that if I click to refresh the page (in an effort to update the list of student last log-in) it takes me back to the "My Projects" page, which is not my desired outcome.

Is it possible to have each "Tab" on the "Home Page" independently refresh, or insert a faster refresh, or a refresh at all for the Edu Admin "Last Login" feature, of for the "Last Login" to be in real time? I realize this would cause a lot of latency if it is constantly refreshing but a 30 second refresh might be viable.
