No Public Profile
Okay, so, please give me a perfect explanation as to why the public profiles were taken down? I mean what's the purpose of having music to share with the world... If no one can actually see what you've made? I mean at this point I might just quit Sondtrap. Hell, this stupid thing you did literally made me not even want to "create" anymore. So good luck finding ways to get your users back.

Hi Malichai. Completely agree with you - I also provided some feedback to the folk at Soundtrap about removing Public Profiles (and the Discover feature) as it just went against creating any sense of a Soundtrap community and makes sharing music and collaborating difficult/impossible.
I posted something in the Feature requests section - more specifically around finding people to collaborate with, but would need a Public Profile to support that:

Soundtrap, the whole purpose of this site is so you can create music and share it with the world. There really is no point to this site anymore. You may not get this but there are many amazing young musicians on here that may not be able to share their music anymore because they can't afford "PREMIUM" you decided that money comes first and talent does not. If something doesn't change soon as in, you make it so music can be put out there and profiles can be seen then I refuse to use this site. This is honestly really upsetting to me because it was a perfect site for me to express myself as a person and share my music with the world which is something that I struggled with. So yeah, not a good move dude, and I'll be on the lookout for other platforms to use that actually appreciate talent. Peace! =)

Now 5 months later. Soundtrap doesn't give a damn about the free users. There is no way to filter out the free samples so I have to scroll through so many premium samples. They are trying to force you to buy premium. My gosh soundtrap has declined. I remember the good old days when I would make fun of amateur music accounts just spamming the loops. Now all that fun is gone. I have switched to Bandlab, which is much better in community and also is paired with Cakewalk, a great free DAW. Recommend you all to check it out, they got everything Soundtraps got but with community sharing and constant updates. They are much more dedicated to their users and have kept everything free. That ends my rant.

I see what you mean, however, such a problem could be easily solved. One way to do this would be not allowing users to be able to access the public profiles feature without account verification and a month of account creation, as well as at least 2 weeks of account activity through working on projects.

Honestly, I think the profile visibility should be choice. Regardless, if there is a collaborative feature, then there should be publicity. Users should have the ability to chose a public account or a private account. And I agree with the verification, but what do you mean? Does it mean "oh, verify this email" or such, or do you have to be a real creator?
