Do Not Remove Public Profiles

I agree. There are some people, like me, who share their music publicly in this website to their friends and family. Taking away the public profiles will definitely not-better our Soundtrap experience.

I second that.  How after creating a mix do we get to find other members by talent?  It's like the people at soundtrap think we're mind readers, and know in advance who is talented with what instrument and what genre they play, so without public profiles, we have absolutely no way of knowing who does what, and the way things are now, the 'Share' button expects us to know everybody's email address that's a member of soundtrap, and email them to see if they're interested in collaborating, again we're expected to be mind readers.

I would like to be able to see a list of public profiles, and instead of using emails, use an ID number, then after creating a project, I look or search the public profiles to find someone that's talented say in guitar, and I just hit the 'Share' button, enter that persons ID, and a small description of what is being requested, and done, but currently there is no way of doing that.

So, basically, at the moment, once a project has been created, there's no way of contacting other soundtrap members so the project will sit there indefinitely and no-one knows it's there.

Hello everyone, thank you for reaching out to us about this. We really appreciate your feedback!

We’re always looking for ways to improve our product and give you the best Soundtrap experience, and although we understand that you’ll miss these features, we hope that you’ll like our coming collaboration updates.

Please note that you will still be able to collaborate with others and share your music publicly to other platforms once this change has been made.

Thank you, Terry, for sharing your thoughts on how you'd like to share your music and do collaborations.

Again, thank you all so much for your feedback!

I can see how we will still be able to collaberate, but how are we going to go about discovering new people?

Quote from M. A. "Please note that you will still be able to "collaborate with others" and share your music publicly to other platforms once this change has been made", how is it possible to collaborate with other members of soundtrap?  If the answer is "by entering their email address", then, how does one know every members email address on soundtrap? How does each members know of the existence of other members to invite to collaborate?

It seems as things are at the moment, Soundtrap is just an online basic DAW where members don't communicate with each other, but instead, just post links on other sites.  Members have no way of knowing what each members talents are.

So, if public profiles are being removed, then that means setting a project to 'public' will also go, right?  If not, then what's the point of having that setting if there's nowhere that people can see what's publicly available?  Isn't that the whole point of having private/public projects where as private projects are only accessed by giving out an invite, whereas public projects are where people can see publicly available projects for anyone to join, which currently is only on a person's profile, remove the public profile and there's no way of finding public projects.

I just want to know why he refuses to answer their reasoning? Like it's super obvious everyone knows that's a dumb idea so are you just going to completely ignore the customers? I just don't understand, it's almost like they want everyone to stop using their stuff. Like hello were telling you right now, please please please bring it back or you'll lose a lot of your normal users because this is absolute ridiculousness and we all know it.
