Hello Jaime and Brandon, thank you for reaching out to us this. We really appreciate your feedback!

We’re always looking for ways to improve our product and give you the best Soundtrap experience, and although we understand that you’ll miss these features, we hope that you’ll like our coming collaboration updates. If you’re willing to share, we’d love to know what you like the most with having a public profile and a Discover page.

Please note that you will still be able to collaborate with others and share your music publicly to other platforms once this change has been made.

Again, thank you so much for your feedback, we're grateful that you share your thoughts with us!

Dear Moderators who probably won't read this full letter thing,

Please bring back profiles/discover page. If you want to compete with Bandlab you gotta have a social element. It keeps users hooked. Bandlab is completely free and Soundtrap is freemium, and if you don't even have the features to compete, users will switch. Profiles were fun because we could easily collaborate. We could talk to people and we could give feedback. If we had Discover page back, we could easily meet other people who use Soundtrap and are familiar with it. Now we have to find people who produce with Soundtrap. Soundtrap is also becoming more and more premium based. All the little things just show. The removal of filtering free samples is now gone. I have to scroll through all the premium samples, and it's kinda feels like Soundtrap is saying "Haha free user, buy premium, and lets just shove these loops that you can't use in your face". The new packs that are displayed are 99% premium. This all happened after Spotify got Soundtrap. I was super happy for Soundtrap when Spotify acquired Soundtrap. I thought soundtrap could grow more, and have better features. But there were no features added. I thought we would be able to upload music to Spotify  but nope, it only works for podcasts, and that is also premium. Premium premium premium. And now its more pay to win than ever. And I feel like Soundtrap employees aren't in the wrong, its the Spotify employees that are making these poor decisions because they don't know how Soundtrap used to work. Thanks for reading this mods/employees.
