Allow silence at the beginning of exported track

Hi! I have a multi track project. I cut out the beginning of a few of the tracks because they had noise, but left one in place that is just silence until the singer begins. I exported the wav file of the 6 tracks, and loaded it into a new project, and it seems that all the tracks snapped back to the beginning. This wouldn't be terrible, except that I need it to line up with the original backing track with which the tracks were originally recorded (I muted the backing track when I exported the wav because I don't want it in there until the final product.)
