Tuner reads guitar wrong and recordings come out in the wrong key.

I just tried to lay down a new project. The Soundtrap tuner says my guitar is tuned exactly a half step low. ( E string registers on their tuner as Eb, A is Ab, etc. )  It definitely is NOT. That's just the beginning...

   So I record my track anyway. Get this, Soundtrap plays it back at the WRONG KEY and slowed down. I looked all over the options. There is a "change pitch" function but I don't have that on as far as I can tell. The slowing down could be latency but latency doesn't usually change pitch!   Anyone got any idea what's causing this?

  Hi Sara,

      I was using an M-Audio Interface with a PC. The solution was to update the interface software and also download and install the latest M-audio driver. That fixed it. I hope this helps.
