Matching beats and bars to drum loop from Freesound

I've found a drum loop that I like from the Sounds/Freesounds section of the Loops. However, it's very irregular in length, so when it's looped, it's really hard to get other tracks to start/finish/loop in exactly the right place - I have to do manually/by eye using maximum magnification and even if I'm a fraction out, tracks get out of sync with the beat pretty quickly .

Is there anyway of matching the beats/bars to in the grip to a specific pattern? I've tried alternative grid set up/time signature etc, but the loop always ends between lines on the grid (at maximum magnification). Or any other options? (I guess I could make my own pattern, but I don't like reinventing what's already good!). Thanks

  Doh - found the answer straight after posting... loop had the BPM in the name. Changed the song tempo, readded the loop and now matches the beats/bars/grid. Just have to re-do the 6 other "from scratch" tracks I created now, as the tempo on those is all messed up :-(
