"Oops Error.Desc" when I try to post a profile soundbite - WTF?

Literally the first task I try to complete after signing up and it won't work and is giving me an error message. Wow.

  Same happening to me. Very disappointed that no response from SoundTrap.

  If it is that they cannot be bothered with free users they should remember that satisfied free users become paid users.

  Hello, thank you all for reporting this!

  We've identified an ongoing issue with uploading a Soundbite - it currently doesn't accept MP3's. A quick and easy workaround for this is to convert your MP3 file to a WAV file using any converter available to you, and then upload this as a Soundbite.

  We do apologize for the inconvenience, but we're still looking into this, and we'll let everybody know once we have any substantial development!
