Turning off the Walled Garden for EDU
As the Teacher and Owner, I need to be able to turn the walled garden on and off for my classes. The very first video ("Soundtrap EDU | Teacher Onboarding video") show this option and ability under "Permissions." However, when I go to "Permissions," that is not one of the options.
Any help?

Hello Hether, thanks for getting in touch!
We are currently working on an improved solution for Walled garden for Soundtrap for Education. Until then, we have decided to remove the ability to disable the Walled garden from the Permissions tab.
With this said, we can help disable the Walled Garden manually for you. We would like to know more about how you intend to use this feature as well. Please let our support team know if this is something you'd like to do.
We look forward to hearing from you!

I have used Noteflight for years, and I really like the way they handle this. I also love the way that Soundtrap and Noteflight work together (indispensable for my students).
I've had a Noteflight Premium (then called Crescendo) account for years of my own. When I decided to use Noteflight Learn with my students, I purchased the seats I needed. (That part is similar to Soundtrap for Education). After the purchase, I discovered that my personal Noteflight Premium account was still active, and the subscription price for it was included in my Noteflight Learn price, and that it could be linked to my Noteflight Learn teacher account as well. Very very nice.
All this means that, as a teacher, I have the ability to go in and out of my Noteflight "walled garden" at will. My students never can, period. But I can create a score in my NL teacher account (inside the garden) only for use with my students. Also, I can separately access my personal Premium account (cost included) which is outside the garden. This is how I share and collaborate outside of my students or outside of Noteflight. They are two separate accounts but paid for together. Teachers who purchase Learn automatically have their own Premium account as well.
Icing on the cake: there is an option in my Premium account to "copy score" to my NL teacher account, and vise versa. So, if I write something in one account, a duplicate of it can be created in the other.
I think a function like this is important for Soundtrap users because music teachers are also musicians who create and collaborate outside of work hours. If I have a regular Soundtrap account, I can't work with students. But as soon as I convert my account to an Education account, I am blocked from ever working on personal projects with others. With Noteflight, I can do both. In Soundtrap, I must choose one or the other. In essence, you are requiring teachers who also want to make personal music to pay full price for two accounts for themselves - one personal and one edu - and those accounts can't even talk to or collaborate with each other. I can't imagine this striking anyone as a fair deal, and I don't see a whole lot of music teachers going for it (paying for two accounts). I have a feeling lots of your Edu users find another way to collaborate on personal music.
All that said, I love Soundtrap for Education, and I'm grateful for a great product.

Yes, I would like to turn off the walled garden. My students are inviting mayors, scientists, etc to interview, but can't use soundtrap to record since they can't invite anyone outside the school. Please turn it off. I have contacted support three times with no response, which is why I am asking for support here. Thank you!
