    Projects can get memory-heavy which leads to browsers accidentally closing out without saving the project. So we recommend having a habit of frequently saving projects to make sure not to lose any progress in case an unfortunate event happens in the future.

    Hi! I had the same problem, my sibling shut off my computer by accident ( I hope it was an accident ) and I open everything back up but I wasn't there and I am really stressed because this project is due this Monday. I was wondering if there was a way that I can recover my project because I have been working on it for over 4 hours. Please help, if you can. Thank you!!

    If this message didn't appear, it's possible that your system wasn't able to save your progress when Sountrap was closed.

    Moving forward, to avoid recurrence, we strongly recommend saving your projects frequently to ensure that your progress is safe and optimize once in awhile by using an updated Google Chrome browser and clearing Chrome's cache and cookies.

    If you have not saved your project and have closed down the tab/window/app or in the case of a crash, the latest version is stored locally in your device and can be reopened when opening the studio again the next time. You will be given the options shown in the screenshot below.

    However, if you reopened the studio and chosen to "discard draft" or this message didn't show, the project is irrecoverable since it was not saved in the cloud.
