I have exactly the same issue. I am starting a project with young adults. I want the collaborations and comments clear. so that Teachers can see them.

I don't want students to privately message each other without teachers unable  to monitor

If someone said something offensive in a message how can I monitor that and protect students.

I would want to prevent cyber bullying or flirting on the site.

Would love an answer on this.  I tried to turn off "messaging" so students would not communicate with each other and enable "commenting" but I don't see any place to actually add the comment.   Please help!  My students have shared their first projects with me and and cannot give them any feedback.

I would love an answer to this too. I have turned on collaborating but even though I write feedback for pupils it disappears when I leave the studio. What am I doing wrong?

I too am very interestedi n following this topic. We are currently using the trial and I just came across this issue today when seeing in a Soundtrap report email that students were messaging each other.  This is completely unacceptable without my ability to monitor within Soundtrap and have the ability to turn it off for students-which would definitely be a must in my district.

I also want help because I want to be able to message my students and comment from a teacher point of view without having the students be able to comment or talk to each other. Thanks.

We can see that you've emailed us about this too, rwhitcomb and our support team wants to make sure everything is working for you.

For Ike, EDU owners can customize the roles in Soundtrap. For more information on setting permissions, follow the steps here.

    Hi Ike and everyone,

As per my first comment, it seems that Soundtrap just doesn't have this feature. You either have to let students talk to each other if you want to talk to them, or you have to just turn it off for everyone and give your students verbal or written feedback.

I think Soundtrap should add this feature. Thanks!
