Microphone Access
I changed the privacy settings on Google to allow mic, camera, and pop ups for soundtrap. However, when I select a voice track I get a prompt which tells me microphone access has been denied and that I should click on a camera icon in the address bar. I do not see a camera icon in the address bar. Anyone have a similar issue?

Hi! Are you perhaps using a Macbook? If so, you might have to check your security permissions and allow access there, too. Also, whether you're on a PC or Mac, try changing the default input device on your audio settings and play around with it there; make sure the microphone isn't in use by other programs.
Try out the steps and let us know how it went. For anything else, just let us know. Take care :)

Just posting this in case anyone else is struggling. I am having the same issue. Have checked and re-checked that access is allowed, even changed the settings from "ask" to "Allowed" explicitly. Turned off device, restarted, plugged in mic, logged back in .... nada. However, I was using the app on my chromebook. When I navigated back to the web version to poke around the settings some more, I accidentally hit the studio button, and discovered that the mic worked just fine in the web version. So, it seems I can lay my vocal track on the web version, and then return to the app version to edit if I want to. I hope that this isn't common knowledge and I'm just stating the obvious, and sounding extra dumb, but... maybe someone else has a chromebook (mine is the Samsung Galaxy), and is struggling. Might be a work around for you, too! Happy creating!
