Anyone who is paying any subscription plan for Soundtrap should be able to access high quality WAV exports. An MP3 just isn't industry standard and for what Soundtrap promotes itself as, I don't understand why it limits its subscribers to having to buy the second tier, Supreme, to get a WAV file.
Not to mention the auto-mastering that you can't turn off. It's ridiculous to be paying a monthly fee for a DAW which will make you wait for an unnecessarily long amount of time, just to export a track that isn't even accurate to what you hear in the studio. Do you pay for Spotify Premium and expect to only be able to listen to covers of your favourite songs?
I am a paying customer, and every other DAW will export my track as a WAV, or a FLAC for free. Fl Studio's free trial allows for high quality exports. Garageband allows for high quality exports. Ableton's trial allows for high quality exports. Your biggest competitor, Bandlab, has every last one of Soundtrap's features, just not locked behind a tiered paywall.
Over the last four years that I have used Soundtrap I have only been given more and more reasons to unsubscribe and switch to another DAW - and I am not the only one feeling this way. This studio is lacking some great features and when they are added they are locked behind paywalls. Okay. But when already paying customers need to 'upgrade' to a new plan just to get high quality exports? Nah. Do better.
