How do I connect a real electric drum kit to record with?

I want to add drums to a song I'm producing, and I tried looking everywhere on the internet on how to connect a real electric drumkit (not a MIDI keyboard drumkit), but I couldn't find a thing.

  Hi, thanks for reaching out!

  Using an electric drumkit in Soundtrap may require an audio driver for your device. Other than that, MIDI mapping is a feature that is not available in the studio, so your device may not be exactly mapped to the setting of the drum kit.
