Tempo is 3/4 but grid is 4/4?

This is a bug where when I change the tempo to 3/4, the metronome and tempo counts 3/4 like normal, but the grid stays at 4/4. This makes it nearly impossible to make any song in 3/4 for me because the tracks will lock to the 4/4 grid while I'm trying to make a 3/4 song. No matter what I do, changing it from 3/4 to 4/4 and back, changing the tempo from count from beats to time and back, changing the tempo to be faster, nothing seems to make the grid update. It stays on 4/4 no matter what I do.

All of this happened when I left and re-opened the project. I won't be able to finish this song unless I find a solution, so please help me.
