New zoom in feature sucks

The magnify in/out buttons now have a zoom in animation that happens when you click + or -, however when you spam it to zoom in quickly it takes a while to play all the animations and makes it impossible to track how far in/out you are. I am finding this makes working on projects more difficult. 

I think this feature should be removed
