Please undo the butchering of effects

I made a support account strictly so I can post about this issue.

Soundtrap, even with its flaws, is a very solid DAW for its price, or lack thereof. Even on the free version of the website, you can make competent music with little to no issue. Even with the lack of automation, even without the ability to download Soundtrap itself onto my computer which makes it so I have to stick to the laggy website, even with the poor guitar effects, even with EVERYTHING. It's not bad on the free version. Then after the million unneeded UI changes, half of the effects, which are near vital in anything song related, were completely locked behind a paywall.

I don't know what the people behind Soundtrap are thinking, but this is an incredibly bad idea. We're already frustrated with the downsides of the website, and locking behind the biggest feature, of which I stuck around on this website for despite the issues, behind A PAYWALL?? There is absolutely nobody who is happy with this, this is strictly to line the pockets of the people running the site, and nobody is happy. Please make it so all effects are accessible for free as they were before. There is no reason why things have to be this way other than greed.

I'm certain many people who used this site for free before are going to switch DAWs, might I recommend BandLab?

can bandlab still keep up with soundtrap as far as instruments go though? I think I have to just get FL Studio at this point haha too much work to find a sustainable DAW that won't update poorly
