How to invite a friend who’s not already a Soundtrap member

Missing someone on Soundtrap?

You can invite somebody who's not already a Soundtrap member to a project in two ways.

Share via Link:

1. On your profile page, click on the ellipsis button of the project where you'd like to make a collaboration, then select "+ Invite".

2. Copy the shareable link, then send it to the person whom you'd like to collaborate with (must be a non-user of Soundtrap).

The person you'd like to collaborate with will be prompted to create a Soundtrap account upon clicking the link and will be automatically added as a collaborator to the project.

Via Studio Invite:

1. Open the project where you'd like to do a collaboration in the studio.

2. In the studio, click the "Collaborate" icon, then click the "+ Invite" button.

3. Enter the email address of the person you'd like to collaborate with and click "Invite" (must be a non-user of Soundtrap).

The intended collaborator will then receive an invite through their email. Once the collaborator accepts the invite, they'll be prompted to create a Soundtrap account and will be automatically added as a collaborator to the project.
