Effects: Instant Sidechain

This is widely used in EDM (Electronic Dance Music). It defines the "ducking" or "pumping" sound whenever the kick drum hits, the melody or the rest of the melodic content "ducks" or lowers in volume to emphasize the kick drum and produce the overall pumping sound.

Functions

1. Presets: Change the rhythmic pattern
   • Short duck
   • Medium duck
   • Long duck
   • Half and half
   • Saw burst
   • Offbeat
2. Curve: Click and drag to the left/right to freely adjust the rhythmic pattern
3. Amount: Adjusts the intensity of the effect. As the amount increases, the more it ducks the volume
4. Time: Choose how often the Sidechain will take effect
